Gazette: Celtics’ Gorman honored by St. Patrick’s Committee
HOLYOKE — The St. Patrick’s Committee of Holyoke has named Mike Gorman, the Boston Celtics play-by-play commentator for the past 43 years, as its 64th recipient of the John F. Kennedy National Award. The award is presented annually to an American of Irish descent who has distinguished themselves in their chosen field.
