George E. O’Connell Award

Jeff is the President of Everett Associates, a third-party logistics company based in Springfield, MA, which he has led since 1992. The company is named in honor of his late father, a tribute to the family’s legacy.

Jeff and his wife, Dianne, recently celebrated 30 years of marriage. They reside in the Rock Valley area of Holyoke, where they raised their three children: Amanda, who lives in Marblehead, MA, with her husband Phil DiBuono and their two children, Cam and Reilly; Maggie, who resides in Miami Beach, FL, with her boyfriend Mike Kittredge; and Ryan, who lives in Boston, MA, with his girlfriend Becca Plasse.

Jeff’s extended family also remains a significant part of his life. His mother, Patricia, resides in South Hadley, MA, and his sister, Sheila, lives in Chicopee, MA, with her husband Gene Orzechowski. Jeff is also a proud uncle to four nieces and a great-uncle to Ellie and Owen of Longmeadow, MA.

Jeff and Dianne have been proud residents of Holyoke since the mid-1980s. All three of their children attended Blessed Sacrament School and Holyoke High School, continuing the family’s strong connection to the city. Jeff’s mother, Patricia, worked for many years at the Holyoke Medical Center, while Dianne has spent her entire career there.

Jeff is an active member of the Holyoke community. He joined the Hibernians in 2022 and has served on the Blessed Sacrament Finance Committee for many years. Jeff became involved with the St. Patrick’s Parade Committee in 2018 after attending many events in 2017, the year his daughter Maggie was honored as the Grand Colleen. Inspired by the organization’s impact, he wanted to give back.

During his time on the committee, Jeff has co-chaired both the Mike Ahearn Memorial Golf Tournament and Marshal Mania, leveraging his love for live music to help raise funds for the parade. He also takes great pride in his Irish heritage, with family roots tracing back to County Kerry. Jeff treasures the stories of his ancestors who settled in Hungry Hill in Springfield during the 1920s and enjoys visiting cousins who still live in Ireland. He strives to visit Ireland annually, cherishing the connections and culture.

Jeff has participated in the Holyoke Road Race six times and proudly marched in the parade for the first time last year with the Holyoke High School band. He looks forward to marching alongside his family in the 2025 parade.
