Can’t make it? Watch the Parade live on WWLP!
The 71st Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024. It will again air live at noon on WWLP and live streamed on WWLP.com. The television location will be at the Beech Street side of Holyoke High School, and the parade will step-off at 11:10am from the Kmart Plaza.
Parade spectators who usually watch the event along Northampton Street will need to note the earlier start time.
22News Anchor Rich Tettemer and Sheila Moreau from the Parade Committee will serve as Parade hosts, and 22News Anchor Taylor Knight will provide interviews from the Parade route with participants and bystanders throughout the coverage.
WWLP-22News may be viewed over-the-air on channel 22.1, on Comcast channels 5 & 822, on Charter channels 9 & 787, and on DirecTV channel 22.
WWLP-22News, a Nexstar Media Group, Inc. station, is an NBC affiliate providing local news, network, syndicated, and local programming to western Massachusetts.
The station also provides superior digital breaking news and weather coverage through its website WWLP.com and on all mobile devices. WWLP 22.2 is the home of The CW Springfield. In addition to The CW network programming, 22News airs each evening at 10 p.m.

Parade Announcers
Rich Tettemer
Rich Tettemer currently anchors the weekday morning and noon editions of 22News. Rich joined WWLP-22News in April of 1988 as sports director. Previously, he worked as the weekend sports anchor/reporter for KODE-TV in Joplin, Missouri, and as a sports editor for WFLA-TV in Florida.
Rich is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.
During his career at 22News, he was voted by the readers of the Springfield Advocate and the Valley Advocate as Best Sportscaster. Rich has also garnered 13 Associated Press Awards. Additionally, he has served as co-host of the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon.
Rich resides in western Massachusetts with Valerie, his wife, and his three children.
Taylor Knight
Taylor Knight joined 22News in July of 2018 as a multimedia journalist. Currently, Taylor is the co-anchor of the 22News weekday morning newscasts and a reporter for the 22News I-Team.
Before arriving in Springfield, Taylor was a reporter for FiOS1 News in New Jersey. Taylor began her career as a multimedia journalist in Connecticut, covering news and sports in Fairfield County.
Taylor earned her B.A. in broadcast journalism at Temple University in Philadelphia. During college, she interned at WFSB in Connecticut and NBC Sports Philadelphia.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her dog, running, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. She is excited to now be “Working for You!”
Sheila Moreau
Sheila Moreau is a long-time member of the St. Patrick’s Committee of Holyoke where she serves as the Committee’s Marketing Co-Chair.
In 2015, she was honored as the O'Connell Award recipient – an award given by the Committee to a long-standing member who has made significant contributions to the fundraising efforts of the Parade and/or this Association.
Sheila is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Professional Development Coordinator for MindWing Concepts, Inc. and in 2012, she was recognized as one of BusinessWest’s “40 Under 40”. Sheila is the proud Mother to her daughter Casey.
