  • Natalie hails from Holyoke and is the proud daughter of Aaron and Stephanie Morris. Growing up with her sister Keira, Natalie cherishes her Irish heritage, which traces back to her paternal side, with the Cavanaugh’sb& Sears’ from Dingle, County Kerry, and the Tighe’s from Belmullet, County Mayo.

    A 2022 graduate of Holyoke High School, Natalie earned the esteemed title of Valedictorian. Her high school journey was marked by active participation in the National Honor Society and contributions to the Music and Theater Departments. Outside of academics, Natalie dedicated her time to the Holyoke Canoe Club and the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round, where she served as a house manager.

    Currently pursuing her artistic passion at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Natalie has already distinguished herself by receiving the MassArt Studio Foundations Award and Scholarship. As an Advancement Ambassador at MassArt, she actively contributes to the college community. Natalie is also a displaying artist at the MassArt student galleries and an enthusiastic participant in the Colleges of the Fenway Theater Department.

    Anticipating her graduation in 2026, Natalie is on a path to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration. Her aspirations extend beyond the academic realm, as she envisions a future as an independent illustrator, specializing in freelance illustration, book/zine design, and contributing to publications like magazines. Looking ahead, Natalie envisions building her own brand, getting married, and embracing the role of a mother in her ultimate journey.

  • Hunter Rose Edwards, is a native of Holyoke and the proud daughter of Carolyn Edwards. Hunter comes from a close-knit family, including her brother Nicholas. Her roots trace back to maternal ancestors who immigrated from the scenic counties of Kerry and Laois.

    A standout graduate of St. Mary’s High School in June 2022, Hunter earned the distinction of valedictorian and served as the student body Vice-President. During her high school journey, she showcased her diverse talents as a member of the Varsity Tennis Team and the Key Club.

    Currently in her sophomore year at the UMass Isenberg School of Management, Hunter is dedicated to her studies in Operations and Information Management. Her academic excellence is reflected in her impressive 3.97 GPA, earning her a place on the Dean’s List High Honors in the Honors College. Hunter was honored with the prestigious Greg Saunders Memorial Scholarship.

    Beyond academics, Hunter is deeply involved in campus life. She serves as a peer mentor and holds the position of Director of Professional Events for the Isenberg School of Management’s Women in Business Organization. Additionally, Hunter contributes to the university community as an Undergraduate Admissions representative.

    Hunter's professional journey began with a role as a CCD instructor at Blessed Sacrament Parish in 2022. After two years of dedicated service at the Log Cabin and Delaney House, she earned a well-deserved promotion to Banquet Captain in May 2023.

    Outside the academic and professional realms, Hunter is a nationally qualified Irish Step Dancer with the Cassin Academy of Irish Dance. Her achievements include participating in solo competitions at the North American Irish Dance Championships and New England Oireachtas competitions, earning her recognition as one of the top placements in the region in 2019.

    Looking ahead, Hunter has secured an internship as an incoming Leadership Development and Insurance Operations intern at MassMutual for the summer of 2024. Her future plans include completing her thesis in the field of operations analysis and pursuing a career in business analytics. Ultimately, Hunter aims to achieve a Master’s degree in Business Administration, further solidifying her commitment to excellence in the business world.

  • Taryn Shaylene Ryan, a true Holyoke native born to Ann and Glen Ryan. Taryn's family is a close-knit one, including her sisters Meghan and Lauren, and her brother Nicholas. Her Irish roots run deep, connecting her to ancestors from the picturesque counties of Cork, Kerry, Down, and Roscommon on both her paternal and maternal sides.

    A graduate of Holyoke High School in 2021, Taryn's academic achievements shine with a remarkable 4.41 GPA, earning her the prestigious rank of 3rd in her class. Throughout her high school journey, Taryn excelled in the Medical Life Science Academy, was an active member of the National Honor Society, and consistently made the High Honor Roll every quarter.

    Her commitment extended beyond academics as Taryn actively participated in various extracurricular activities. She was a dedicated member of the Business Club, the Athletic Leadership Council, and the student government. Taryn's leadership qualities were evident as she was elected Class Marshal each year.

    A multi-talented athlete, Taryn played varsity soccer and basketball throughout her four years in high school. She not only captained both teams during her junior and senior years but also earned a spot on the Soccer All Western Mass first team during her senior year.

    Taryn's professional journey began at the age of 16 when she joined the Log Cabin. Over the years, she climbed the ranks and currently holds the position of supervisor.

    In the fall of 2021, Taryn embarked on her academic journey at Springfield College, enrolling in the 6-year accelerated program for Physical Therapy. Maintaining an impressive 3.692 GPA, she consistently earned a place on the Dean's List each semester. Taryn is set to graduate in 2025 with a bachelor's in science, majoring in health science/physical therapy with a minor in psychology. Continuing her studies, she plans to graduate in 2027 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

    Taryn's dedication extends beyond academics as she is a proud member of the Springfield College Varsity Soccer Team. Her achievements include being named Defensive Athlete of the Week in the fall of 2023. Taryn is actively involved in the Springfield College Student Athlete Leadership team and the Student Government Association, where she holds the position of class treasurer.

    Community service holds a special place in Taryn's heart, as seen through her volunteer work with the Special Olympics and participation in the Fill the Bus Food Drive. Additionally, she has served as a summer bible camp counselor for Blessed Sacrament Parish.

    Looking ahead, Taryn envisions a future as a sports physical therapist, aiming to work with either a college or professional sports team after earning her Doctorate from Springfield College. Her journey reflects not only academic excellence and athletic prowess but also a deep commitment to community service and leadership.

  • Amelia Frances George, a proud resident of Holyoke and the cherished only child of Louise Millane-George and Jason George. Amelia's Irish heritage is deeply rooted in her maternal side, with ancestors hailing from the enchanting counties of Cork and Tipperary.

    A graduate of Pope Francis Preparatory School in 2019, Amelia's high school journey was marked by academic excellence and diverse athletic pursuits. She was an active member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Chapter of the National Honor Society and showcased her sporting talents as a participant in the soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and track. Her outstanding character, service, and leadership were recognized upon graduation when she received the Pope Francis Award.

    Amelia continued her academic journey at Endicott College, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sports Management. Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.86, she also received the Campus Leadership Award. Amelia's commitment to sports extended beyond academics, as she was a proud member of the women’s rugby team for three years and Head Captain for 1 year.

    Throughout her college career, Amelia took on additional roles, serving as an orientation leader to help first-year students transition into college life. She gained valuable experience through internships, working as an events intern at the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke in 2021 and as a marketing intern for the Harvard University Athletic Department in 2022.

    Currently employed as a full-time building-assigned substitute teacher at Bowe Elementary School in Chicopee, Amelia is actively involved in her community. She volunteers with New Spirit Inc. as a summer camp counselor and dedicates her time to the Holyoke Legion Post 325, serving meals to veterans and community members.

    In her leisure moments, Amelia indulges her artistic side, expressing herself through drawing, painting, and ceramics. An avid yoga practitioner, and is passionate about working out/lifting weights and staying active.

    Looking toward the future, Amelia has ambitious plans. She aims to pursue her Master's degree in education to become a certified teacher. Additionally, she hopes to expand her artistic skills and eventually establish a small business to share her artwork and creativity with the world. Amelia's journey is characterized by a harmonious blend of academic success, athletic prowess, community service, and a deep passion for the arts.
