Carry a Sign in the Parade!
The St. Patrick’s Parade Committee of Holyoke is actively seeking individuals who want to raise money for a cause of their choice by holding signs in the 2023 St. Patrick’s Parade on Sunday March 19.
Sign Carriers are a critical part of the parade and this is a unique way to be a spectator. Over 100 individuals are needed to carry the banners down the street that help the Committee recognize the dozens of generous sponsors that make the parade possible. Each individual that carries a sign will receive a sweatshirt and will be mailed a check following the parade.
Those interested should email holyokeparadesigncarriers@gmail.com or can visit this link to register. Sign carriers must be 12 and up are able to participate, and adults are welcomed too. The route consists of 2.6 miles including hills, uneven terrain, large crowds and loud noises.
